Last month I tried out new fitness sensation Strong by ZUMBA for Amor Magazine. Since its launch in 2001, Zumba is the largest branded fitness company in the world – reporting more than 15 million weekly participants, in 200,000 locations, across 186 countries. More about Strong by ZUMBA can be found here.

When you hear Zumba, you think dancing right? WRONG! Our trainer @natalieconstanti took us through a gruelling HIIT workout, as the music blasted through the trendy studios of Ministry Does Fitness.

Working out alongside GB Athlete, Perri Shakes-Drayton and Made in Chelsea personal trainer, Ryan Libbey, I tapped into the athlete within and tried to give it my all. The workout incorporates moves that are in sync with specially engineered music, from the likes of legendary producer, Timbaland.

Although the class is pretty high-octane, the way the music is designed, it flows very well and allows you to recapture your breath. The class is split into quadrants and is a full-body workout. About halfway through I was contemplating what I had gotten myself into, but by the end of it, I felt much better for taking part and earned a ‘B***h don’t kale my vibe’ smoothie.
