Located in the “oh so hip” area of Shoreditch, Lupita, is a Mexican restaurant with a lot of flavour and flair. I visited early afternoon one weekend and was seated by the window, just as I like. After scanning the menu a couple times, I was still unsure what to get, as the dishes all sounded rather appealing. Along came the waiter, putting my wrecking brain at ease with a few recommendations to start.
Guacamole served with homemade totopos.
Recommended – made from scratch at your table!
Fried corn tortillas with shredded chicken, on a bed of lettuce with creme fraiche, crumbled cheese and salsa verde.
Ordered six, but three is more than enough.
Three corn tortillas with prawns, melted cheese, homemade chipotle mayo and pico de gallo.
