Best African Restaurants in South London

Coming from a mixed heritage, Ghanaian and Swedish to be exact, I have been exposed to different cultures and this extends to what I’ve grown up eating. I wouldn’t say one culture is more dominant than the other in my life, as I embrace each differently but equally.

Growing up I was introduced to plenty of West African dishes by my father and still enjoy them now, although they aren’t cooked as often. Some of my favourite dishes include; fufu and peanut butter soup, pounded yam, jollof rice, mixed meat stew and sardines and garri with shito (man I’m getting hungry just thinking about these dishes).

Food plays a HUGE part in my life and when I’m not savouring one of the above dishes at home or at my partner’s house (who is also African), I am eating out at one of the below restaurants, that I am wanted to share with you all!
